World Cleanup Day is held annually on the 20th of September where volunteers in 190+ countries will stand up against the global trash problem and clean up waste, making it the biggest positive civic action the world has seen.

World Cleanup Day is an official United Nations awareness day.

Imagine a powerful “green wave” starting in Japan and ending in Hawaii, with hundreds of millions of people taking positive action together on the very same day. We aim to unite the global community, raise awareness, and implement true change to achieve our final goal – a clean and healthy planet.

The initiator of World Cleanup Day – Let’s Do It World is a global civic movement with a mission to connect and empower people and organisations around the world for a clean planet. Already 100 million caring people have joined the movement, cleaning up more than 1 000 000 tonnes of garbage in over 197 countries, saving lives, improving health, & reducing costs.

Take action now wherever you are! Through the actions you take in your local community you can make an impact, making the world a cleaner and better place.
